Diamond

Professor Uzun Chjou from Scottish Sent-Andrew University has decided to understand, of what the flame of a candle consists.

By means of new technology of sampling it has studied products of burning in average and bottom parts of a flame and has found out in all of them four forms of carbon — graphite, fullerene, amorphous carbon and diamonds. This has surprised the scientist — in fact for formation of such substances absolutely different conditions are necessary. But, certainly, the greatest revelation became presence nanoparticles of diamond. Every second in a flame of their candle more than one and a half millions are born. Rising upwards, they turn to ordinary carbonic gas. Now it is necessary to develop only technology of catching of tiny jewelry from a flame. Then they can become germs for artificial cultivation of large sparkling  stones.
