The Civil Society Leadership Network (CSLN) was set up and developed by a Joint Programme between the European Union and the Council of Europe in 2008 and 2009. Currently, the CSLN united
around 120 leaders of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
These NGO leaders gained knowledge in democratic values and were trained in strategic advocacy skills. The sessions provided fertile ground for networking and developing joint initiatives in the field of democracy, human rights and the rule of law. Effective local implementation was ensured by five local NGO partners.
About 24 key persons from various Georgian NGOs participated in the program. And even after successful fulfillment of the program some members of Georgian team maintain communication, design joint projects, exchange news and future plans and meet each other in non-formal atmosphere.
On the photos you can view some member of the Georgian CSLN team meeting each other in the restaurant TSISKVILI on 24 December, 2010 in Tbilisi and celebration Christmas. We spend fantastic time there and have had “toasts” to more then 120 CSLN participants from 5 countries one—by-one. You can see the results when we were leaving the restaurant at night.
